Hello Readers,
My name is Joey ChestNot, no affiliation with the true Joseph Chestnut, but simply a clever play on words. I want to welcome you to my new and active blog. Moving forward, this page will be fully dedicated to highlighting the amateur competition eater scene all around the world. The best of the underground in other words - the avant-garde. I have prepared many different blogs already contributing to documenting and archiving their achievements. Some of these folks aren't even fully aware of their potential in the competition world.
Some of my favorite mainstream competition eaters include folks like Badlands Chugs, Joey Chestnut (of course...), LA Beast, Matt Stoney, GloZell Green, and Shoenice. Before they were famous, they were just eaters. They all followed their love of eating and turned it into something we all aspire to be.
Don't want to get too into the details of our operation here at Rookie Mastication, but like I've promised, a continuing flow on coverage of the next generation of professional competition eaters. Warts and all.
